Double Drop Float (RGN)
Becker Bros. can provide double drop float services for a wide variety of equipment. We have a wide range of different types and sizes of double drop floats. They range in size from 35 Ton to 85 Ton with the ability to haul a single piece up to 170 000lbs. Our drivers are experienced with over-sized loads and have taken load securement courses.
The following is a list of important information to know before ordering a float:
- Make and model of machine
- Proper street names and or directions
- Width
- Length (wheel base as well as overall)
- Weight
- Height (to highest point including lights)
Most machines can be moved with our annual permits. Listed below are the maximum dimensions allowed before we require single trip permitting:
- Maximum width of 12 feet, 6 inches
- Maximum height of 11 feet, 6 inches
- Maximum weight of 80 000lbs.
